Our fish out pond is located at 1745 Huron Rd, Petersburg, N0B 2H0.

For GPS please use Wilmot (not Petersburg)

Lyndon Public Fishing is located alongside our Lyndon Fish Hatcheries Site at 1738 Queen St. (see 'Contact Us' page for a Google Map)  Located just west of Kitchener-Waterloo our beautiful location is enticing for those looking for a tranquil release from the everyday or an exhilarating experience catching all the fish you can imagine.  Adding to our welcoming atmosphere Lyndon Public Fishing provides picnic tables around the pond for your convenience to picnic and relax while you fish!  We do our utmost to create an environment to build strong family ties for generations to come. Our "family" here at Lyndon Public Fishing are eager to make your experience as memorable as possible.

Please call ahead to book groups and parties so that we can do everything we can to accomodate your every need. Even though public fishing is closed during the winter months please feel free to call 519-696-FISH to book groups for the upcoming season.

We accomodate many large groups from company picnics, churches, scouts, and the "Cops for Kids" through Waterloo Region Police Association. Also, many nursing and retirement homes love the experience we provide and have returned time and time again.  It truly is a great experience for all ages!  Group rates are available.

All ranges of fishermen and women are welcome to join us at Lyndon Public Fishing, we strive to do everything we can to ensure you enjoy your experience.  Bring your own equipment, or you may rent a rod.  Fish with worms or lures, your choice. Feel free to bring your own worms if you like! Our only rule regarding livebait is that you only use worms. We strive to maintain the cleanest and most bio-secure pond we can, which means we cannot allow roe/spawn or any baitfish in the water. We will supply you with a large net and a bucket for your prize catch! Everything caught at Lyndon Public Fishing is "keep what you catch" in order to maintain the integrity of our pond and the health of our fish. To make your experience even better our knowledgeable and friendly staff always clean your fish for you at no extra charge and send it home in a bag for your convenience.

In addition to our complimentary fish cleaning we also provide an onsite BBQ that groups or families can rent to enjoy their catch whilst being surrounded by our charming nature landscape.

We also accomodate fly fishing men and women to enjoy our per hour catch and release pricing.
Flyfishing is the only catch and release activity allowed at the pond and is well worth the price. Over the years many fly fisherman have come our pond to practice new skills, teach their youngsters, or even catch supper. No matter what their motivation they have all left delighted, and some even tired, but that is because they landed so many fish.
